What is the front of the Point 5 speaker made of?
The baffle material used in the athena TECHNOLOGIES® Point 5 MK II speakers (S.5/C.5) is a special injection molded resin material. It is specially shaped to improve the dispersion, but not coincidentally, they look awesome as well! The gentle rounded shape blends into any room, and if you remove the grilles from the drivers, the speaker takes on a whole new identity! The thick resin baffle is glued to the MDF cabinet, and is an integral part of the cabinet's structure, improving rigidity and overall sound quality!
