The S3 speaker is a taller 3-way design that can be used as front speakers, or rear channel speakers in a surround system. The 3-way design affords a cleaner more accurate midrange response, and allows the 8" woofer to concentrate on bass frequencies only. The S3 is a high efficiency speaker with superb bass down to 40Hz, and able to handle 200 watts of power comfortably. With the SCT System, the S3 speaker can be integrated with either the P2, or P3 Active Subwoofers, to create a "powered tower" speaker. Listening to a pair of S3/P3 speakers is an amazing experience.
